Rubber Expansion Bellows are an assembly which are used primarily in piping applications to compensate for thermal expansion and contraction, reduce noise and vibration produced by the rotating element as well as relieve pipe stress during operation.

A Rubber expansion bellows consists of a specific number of convolutions, with the shape of the convolution designed to withstand the internal pressures of the pipe, but flexible enough to undergo axial, lateral, and angular movements.

Pressure ranges up to 20 kg/cm2

Advantages

  • Positive sealing for leak free operation
  • Eliminates stress or expansion & contraction
  • Compensates for misalignment-axial, lateral, angular & torsional
  • Absorbs vibration & shock
  • Eliminates line noise
  • Prevents pipe buckling & fracture
  • Prevents electrolytic corrosion
  • Stops water hammer
  • Low deformation under pressure
  • Greater recovery from movement
  • Abrasion, water, heat, chemical, weather resistant, resistant to fatigue
  • Negligible loss of heat

  • HVAC Applications
  • Process Piping
  • Power Plant Applications
  • Industrial Ducting Systems
  • Marine Systems
  • Pollution and Wastewater Treatment
