Conductive Smooth bore PTFE Hose features a static-dissipative core tube to dissipate static build up.

Conductive PTFE hose appears black in color when you look at the liner as it’s covered with a carbon coating in order to discharge static electricity. PTFE hoses have exceptional chemical compatibility and handle temperatures as high as +450°F, except in jacketed designs. PTFE braided hoses are used in numerous applications including, but not limited to, chemical transfer lines, high temperature general hydraulics, and coolant lines. The PTFE core tube resists moisture and offers the lowest coefficient of friction of any known plastic, therefore minimizing pressure drops and deposits.

It is commonly used in various industrial applications, such as in the chemical, pharmaceutical, and food processing industries, where static electricity control is necessary.

When using conductive PTFE hose, it is important to ensure proper grounding to effectively dissipate static charges. Grounding the hose involves connecting it to a conductive surface or a grounding point to allow the static electricity to safely discharge.
